Living in Southern California seems to be a bit of a rat race, while each day passes I watch my family grow up fast; much faster than I imagined. As a child, time seemed to drag; and now, as a parent, time just will not stand still. Remember when you waited for the bell to ring in grade school and that last 30 seconds felt like forever. The aim here is to recapture that sense of time standing still and create meaningful and lasting experiences that strengthen family bonds.

Why do you do what you do, anyway – what really matters? We have all heard the story about the man who, on his death bed, only wishes he could spend more time with his family, focusing on the relationships that are meaningful. From our very beginning, each of us enrolled in a family by birth. There is no guarantee how it will turn out. Since the foundation of the human existence there was no other structure or organization more suited than the family for the task of developing and nurturing people, specifically you and me.

This blog is an effort to strengthen family bonds in all stages of family and relationship experience, the good, bad and ugly. The truth is that all of us could use some inspiration to bring some quality into our family relationships, and we each have an experience to share that is valuable to others.
